Are Colon Cleanses Really Necessary? Top 10 Reasons You Don't Want To Do A Colon Cleanse
I am a weight loss health coach and I get asked all the time "are colon cleanses really necessary?"
My answer is NO.
Here are the top ten reasons you do not want to do a colon cleanse:
1-because you don't mind having putrefied waste and years of mucoid plaque lining your intestinal walls and you want to keep it that way.
2- because you might lose from five to fifteen pounds of impacted stool waste you have been carrying around in your constricted lethargic digestive system.
3- because you might not know how to act with all the extra energy your revived digestive system will give you after a colon cleanse.
4- because your face will clear up and your chronic acne might go away. You would miss your face pals - you know - those zits and pimples that stare back at you in the mirror each day. And then of course you would hate to throw away all those expensive acne medications you've purchased.
5-because your overall health and immunity will improve and you might not get the annual cold and flu you look forward to each year.
6-because you really enjoy irregular bowel movements and the pain and discomfort of constipation.
7-because you like feeling sluggish and tired and low energy.
8-because if you had more energy you would have to do all the things you've been telling yourself you would do if only you had more energy.
9-because after a colon cleanse you would really enjoy working out and being more active and the last thing you want is to actually enjoy exercise!
10-because then your weight loss program would be so much more effective and you would see the pounds drop off much faster. Successful weight loss - who really wants that?
I wrote this list a bit tongue in cheek as you can probably tell.
My honest answer to the question "are colon cleanses really necessary?" is a resounding Yes!
