Colon Cleanse Comparison - Guide To Top 5 Colon Cleanse Methods
Are you wondering how to find out what is the best colon cleanser sold in retail stores or online?
I have done colon cleanses for years and they have done wonders for my health and weight loss. However there are many things to watch out for with many of the different types of cleanses.
In this article I will share the top 5 colon cleanse methods
Then you can do a colon cleanse comparison and determine which is the best colon cleanser for you.
Ready? Let's get started.
Method 1 - Colon Hydrotherapy
This is also known as colonic irrigation and should only be done by a licensed or certified professional. It works by passing warm filtered water through to the colon via a tube (that is disposable) and which has been inserted into the anus. Although it cleanses the colon, very quickly it only cleanses the large intestine and so the disadvantage with colonic hydrotherapy is that you can still have a build up of toxins and waste in the smaller intestine that is left behind.
Method 2 - Enemas
These have been used for many centuries now as a way of helping to treat constipation. But how effective the enema is will depend on the type that is used. There are some, which like colon hydrotherapy will only help to remove waste from the lower part of the colon, plus no enema can actually help to remove any compacted waste in this part of the body. Enemas, just like colonic hydrotherapy, are an uncomfortable procedure, as again equipment is required to be inserted into the anus. The main types of enemas used today for colon cleansing use ingredients such as water, coffee and clay.
Method 3 - Herbal Supplements
These can be a much safer and easier way of helping to cleanse the colon. Often you can purchase them through your local health food store or online and they come in either capsule or pill form. However, watch out because many herbal supplements are made up of properties which contain bulking agents and they can actually do you more harm than good. If you do use them it should only be on a very short term basis with proper hydration to avoid creating a "concrete" effect in your bowels.
Method 4 - Laxatives
Laxatives are only a temporary way of helping to treat the problem of constipation and certainly should not be used on an ongoing basis. Although they clear you out, they do not actually cleanse the colon and are not the least bit effective at helping to remove compacted waste. If used over the long term, laxatives can cause many negative health issues including dehydration as well as causing the muscles within the colon not to function properly. I highly recommend that you do NOT use laxatives.
Method 5 - Oxygen Based Colon Cleansing - my preferred method
Of all the methods we have mentioned in this article, this one is the most efficient, effective and safest ways of cleansing the colon. My favorite oxygen colon cleanse is taken in a simple capsule - you do not have to mix or measure ingredients and then struggle to drink it down. Just swallow the capsules with water. Once digested it releases the oxygen properties within it and this then helps to simply melt the compacted waste throughout your colon and digestive system and it is then released in comfortable cleansing bowel movements.
So when you are doing a colon cleanse comparison and deciding what is the best colon cleanser for you to use, ideally you should be looking at an oxygen-based colon cleanse, like the one I use regularly.
Not only does it help to clean your entire digestive system easily and naturally, but it can be done with no outside assistance in the comfort of your home on your own schedule.
